Well, I’m back … except I never went anywhere.

Well, This blog is due an overhaul, especially since a lot of links to Youtube have been broken, which makes me sad. Onece I’m caught up with everything on my main blog, I’ll get to fixing this one up, and see what what I can do about those broken videos.

Final Fantasy X + X2 - Going under by Evanescence

A Good video; very well done. The only thing I really really really didn’t like is that the video ended before the song. The last 15 seconds of the song were filled with misc. collages, pictures and credits (AKA crap). Okay, credits rolling, while the song is still playing could work really well; but in this instance it didn’t.

Even though I was very disappointed by the end, I won’t dock it a point, because everything up to the 3:14 marker was great.

Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core - At the beginning by Donna Lewis/Richard Marx

I love the movie that this song comes from. I liked how the director took scenes we’ve all seen before but cut them short, so that they’re new and refreshing. Instead of a bunch of long scenes we all practical have memorized, we’ve got a bunch of short but good scenes. The shot of Zack’s(?) eye was one I’ve never scene before. Even thought they used clips of Cloud from Advent children, you still feel that your watching Zack.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children + Dirge of Cerberus – Extreme Ways by Moby

What worried me about this video, it that I love this song. I love this song and have herd it a millions times, so I know, that it’s a long song that really don’t ’do’ anything. And how the heck are they going to fill a whole four minutes?  So I dreaded sitting down to watch this video, but it turned out all right. They did the best they could.

Final Fantasy VII: Crisi Core + Advent Children – Remember when it rained by Josh Groban

Well, there’s nothing super incredible in this video to make me rate it a 5/5, but it is good, the only thing I don’t like, but which can’t be helped is that the clips simply move faster than the song. But that’s the way they were ‘filmed’. A solid 4/5. A nice song with complimentary clips. The last third of the film is weaker than the beginning. I think with this song it could have just been worked into simply a cloud/Zack video. Aerith seems kinda out of place.
